Meet Doug Stanton

Doug Stanton, co-founder of the Portland-based Stanton Custom Homes, Inc. has recently joined with Sun Ridge Building & Design of Bend bringing with him quite an impressive resume. With over 20 years of experience as a builder both in Oregon and Arizona, Doug not only brings a unique perspective to Sun Ridge, but also adds some diversity in style to the Sun Ridge portfolio.

Doug Stanton started framing when he was still a youth and is known to this day for his hands-on role in the construction process and personal supervision on the jobsite. Jack and Doug share this same philosophy of project management as well as their commitment to client service. Both work closely with the client through all stages of construction, including lot selection, design, floor plan adaptation, interior design, and most importantly, budget management. Both are committed to quality craftsmanship and believe that the difference lies in the details-from the plumbing fixtures, to the tile, to the water features. Whether you are looking to build a summer retreat or your permanent residence, both Doug and Jack firmly believe that the ultimate goal is to not simply build a house, but create a home.
