The House That Jack and Doug Built

My husband and I wanted to build a unique and classic lodge style home in Sunriver, Oregon. We had purchased a fabulous lot on the north golf course, and had just finished our house plans with our designer. As we began to investigate builders, we kept hearing wonderful things about Sun Ridge Builders, and specifically about Jack Tebbs, the owner. After several weeks of investigation, we narrowed our search to 3 builders. We interviewed all three and Jack easily won us over. Why? He took us to see several of his projects and the quality and uniqueness in these homes blew us away. We also liked his calm and professional demeanor. Once he became our builder, I realized how ethical and honest Jack was. His word is gold and he changed my mind about contractors. Our project, like any project of this sort was not without problems, but Jack was always open to our ideas. He never made us feel bad about bringing up issues. He never got angry. I wish all my experiences with contractors had been this pleasant. I am happy to recommend Jack Tebbs and think of him every time I walk into my beautiful home.

After looking around at all the new home construction in Bend, we feel very fortunate to have had the services of Sun Ridge Building and Design. When we first moved to Bend, I think we viewed every house on the market. We kept returning to a Sun Ridge home in Aubrey Glen, which was under construction. Although it was a speck home, Jack Tebbs was building it as if it were custom. We finally bought it and enjoyed it thoroughly. Everyone who saw the house, outside or inside, loved it. When we decided to sell it and buy a home with acreage, it only took 14 days to sell and the buyer was only the 3rd person to look at it. Jack builds very beautiful homes and each one is unique in styling and detail.
